Because of Easter
Life is not spent
In hopeless search
For reason in the sorrow.
Because of Easter,
Your name is called,
Like Lazarus from the tomb
With purpose for tomorrow.
Because of Easter,
Every life has hope
Beyond sin’s deadly grip
That binds in endless pain.
Because of Easter,
There is a choice:
Gain the world and lose it all, or
Choose the Son and all His gain.
Because of Easter,
Sadness has an end.
Death is not the final word,
The grave can’t keep its prize.
Because of Easter,
God Himself arrives
To not just dwell with us,
But in our hearts abide.
Because of Easter,
No question lies
Of Who God is,
Or why He died.
Because of Easter,
God displayed His love.
For whosoever calls His name
Will receive His life.
Have a wonderfully blessed Resurrection weekend, my friends. And if you don’t have the hope of the Resurrection alive within your heart, why not believe that Jesus died for your sin according to the Scripture, rose again according to the Scripture, and now offers you the gift of eternal life if you will just ask? For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
