A Song of Worship

Christmas stirs our hearts to frenzy, barely slowing even when its day is done. It takes purpose and planning to slow down long enough to worship the One who made Christmas possible. Take some time to wonder at the gift of His coming, and to be still and know that He is God. Come, let us adore Him and praise His name together!

A Song of Worship

Look inside this stone enclosure,

Within the stalls of braying herd.

Enrobed with strips like babes in lambing

This perfect, holy, Son of God.

Who, with wonder created planets.

Who, with power, commanded seas.

Who, once infinite, filled earth and heaven.

Now restrained by weak humanity.

See with awe the shepherds wonder,

Hear the rush of angel song.

All creation knows its Maker

And calls to worship this Babe in straw.

Will you come now to bow before Him,

Though no longer in manger lay?

Born to die, He crushed sin’s bondage.

Come and worship this King who reigns.

Have a wonderful Christmas season, my friends!
