Advent Day#25
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Gaze with wonder at the Word made flesh,
Consider the chaos that His birth did consist.
The One who spoke Light on Creation’s first morn,
Opened Babe’s eyes in a candlelit barn.
The One who spoke all Life to come forth,
Subjected Himself to the process of birth;
Drawing His first breath in a cattle stall,
So sin-cursed man might taste Heaven’s all.
What wondrous Love, this Word made flesh,
Spoke into the world of brokenness.
Bringing healing by His wounds,
And suffering all that sin had done.
Now we know Life by His death.
We know Mercy by His last breath.
We know the Father because He left His throne,
Because Word became flesh, Heaven became Home.
Have a very Merry Christmas, and thank you so much for following my Advent Bible journey! ❤️
