The beauty of reading history is that we can see how other’s choices went for them over the course of time. In every account of man’s rebellion against God and His law, the common denominator is destruction to them and to others. Rebellion against God has never ended well, ever. Bow now or bow later, but there is no option not to bow at all. Humility before God always ends in His mercy extended. Every. Single. Time.
